This study was carried out to investigate the optimal dose amount of PMSG and HCG for sexual synchronization. Sprague-Dawley puberty rats (211.2¡¾5.24g) were used end were divided into three groups according to dose amount of PMSG and HCG: 7 IU group, 10 IU group, 15IU group. The PMSG and HCG were injected by subcutaneous route in cervical area.
The results obtained were summarized as follows ;
1. The 7IU group appeared to the copulation ratio;55%, the pregnancy ratio;90.9%, the mean numbers of fetuses;10.21rat.
2. The 10IU group appeared to the copulation ratio;70%, the pregnancy ratio;92.3%, the mean numbers of fetuses;9.71rat.
3. The 15IU group appeared to the copulation ratio;75%, the pregnancy ratio;80%, the mean numbers of fetuses; 7.61rat.
